Website & Messaging
Terms and Conditions
Rules governing use of the Aguado Immigration Firm website and the terms that apply when a user opts in to receive text messages from the Firm.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and messaging programs operated by Aguado Immigration Firm PLLC ("Aguado Immigration Firm," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website. SMS-specific terms apply only when you separately provide affirmative consent to receive text messages. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website or engage our services. By using this website, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and, if acting on behalf of another person, that you are authorized to do so.
General Information; No Attorney-Client Relationship
The website contains general information and is not a substitute for legal advice from a qualified attorney. Laws and procedures may change, and website content may not reflect the most recent developments.
Submitting a form, scheduling a consultation, sending an email or text message, or communicating with the Firm does not by itself establish an attorney-client relationship. Representation begins only after the Firm agrees to represent you and the required engagement agreement is completed.
Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Every immigration matter depends on its own facts, evidence and applicable law. Please review our Legal Disclaimer for additional information.
Permitted Use of the Website
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the website, gain unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, misrepresent your identity, collect information through unauthorized automated means, or use the site in a way that violates another person's rights.
We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the website, users or the Firm.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the website's text, logos, graphics, photographs, videos and other content are owned by or licensed to Aguado Immigration Firm PLLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial use. No other reproduction, modification or distribution is permitted without prior written authorization.
External Websites and Service Providers
The website may link to or use services operated by other companies, such as appointment scheduling, payment processing, analytics, maps or client portals. Those services may have separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, content or independent practices.
Aguado Immigration Firm PLLC SMS Messaging Program
Program description
When you affirmatively opt in, Aguado Immigration Firm PLLC may send text messages to the mobile number you provide.
- Non-marketing messages may include responses to your inquiry, consultation scheduling, appointment confirmations and reminders, payment or intake instructions, and other service-related updates connected to your request.
- Marketing messages may include information about immigration services, legal updates, events, educational content, special offers or similar promotional communications, but only when you separately opt in to marketing messages.
Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing legal services. Marketing and non-marketing consent are collected separately when applicable.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the Firm and the communication categories you select. Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you from us and to messages you send to us. Contact your wireless carrier for questions about your text or data plan.
How to opt out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to a message from the program. After you send STOP, we will send a text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will no longer receive messages from the applicable SMS program unless you opt in again.
How to rejoin
To rejoin after opting out, complete the same approved opt-in process you used initially or otherwise provide new affirmative consent through an authorized sign-up method.

Carrier disclaimer and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and network availability. We do not guarantee that every message will be delivered or received within a particular time.
Privacy
Our collection and use of information related to the SMS program are described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are not provided to other parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Industry and legal compliance
The SMS program is intended to operate in accordance with applicable federal and state law, carrier requirements, and relevant messaging-industry standards. You agree not to use the program to transmit unlawful, abusive or misleading content.
Your authority to enroll
By opting in, you confirm that you are authorized to use the mobile number provided and to consent to messages at that number.
Consultations, Scheduling and Payments
Appointment availability is subject to the Firm's calendar and confirmation procedures. A requested time is not guaranteed until the Firm or its scheduling system confirms the appointment and any required consultation payment has been completed and verified.
Payment providers may apply separate terms. Legal-service fees beyond an initial consultation are determined after the appropriate case evaluation and are governed by a separate written agreement when the Firm accepts representation.
Website Disclaimer
The website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties regarding uninterrupted access, error-free operation, completeness, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aguado Immigration Firm PLLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the website, reliance on general website content, or use of external websites or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aguado Immigration Firm PLLC, its attorneys, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of this website, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. Provisions that by their nature should survive any suspension or restriction of access — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and this indemnification — shall survive.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law controls. Any dispute relating to the website or these Terms will be handled in a court with proper jurisdiction, subject to any applicable written agreement between you and the Firm.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the website, messaging program, business practices or legal requirements. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the website after publication means the updated Terms apply to future use.
